Tunnelling controls.From design to commissioning.
New and repurposed control systems for material extraction on metro tunnelling projects in France. Large conveyors, high-angle conveyors and winches, with commissioning and ongoing support.
Controls for material extraction
CDDC designs new control systems and adapts existing systems for reuse on metro tunnelling projects in France. The work supports the material extraction scheme that moves excavated material through the installation.
Large conveyors. Connected sequences.
The scope includes large conveyor installations and complex arrangements such as high-angle conveyors and winches. The controls must be considered as a connected system, with coordinated operating sequences and clear interactions between the individual machines.
Stability, sequencing and functional safety
Stable operation, carefully structured sequences and functional safety are central engineering priorities. These considerations shape the control-system design and the adaptation of repurposed equipment to its new duty within the extraction scheme.
Commissioning and continued support
CDDC’s involvement extends from design into commissioning and support, bringing the control system and the site equipment together and supporting the installation in operation.
