Your information.Handled with care.
A clear explanation of the information this website collects, why it is used and the choices available to you.
Who we are
CDDC Engineering Ltd is responsible for personal information collected through this website. Our registered address is 26b Tesla Court, Innovation Way, Peterborough, PE2 6FL, United Kingdom. You can contact us through the contact form or write to this address about your information.
Information you provide
If you send an enquiry, we collect your name, business email, company (if supplied), area of interest and message. If you are invited to the client workspace, we also process account details, project membership, messages, uploaded files and security events. Please only share information needed for the project.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond to your request and discuss the services you ask about. Depending on your relationship with us, this is necessary to take steps towards a contract or for our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Workspace information is used to deliver and manage the agreed project. Security records help protect accounts and investigate misuse. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies, statistics and third parties
The public website uses our existing self-hosted Umami services at stats.cddc.engineering and stats2.cddc.engineering for aggregate visitor statistics. These measure public page views, traffic sources and general device/browser information without advertising cookies or session recordings. Our website configuration strips query strings, URL fragments and external referrer paths; respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control; and excludes administration, login, invitations and all client-workspace pages. Local previews do not send analytics.
The workspace uses strictly necessary, first-party session cookies to keep you signed in. Fonts and images are served by this website. Our existing file service at files.cddc.engineering remains a separate service with its own authentication and operational settings. Following a link to LinkedIn or another service takes you to that service’s privacy arrangements.
Storage and retention
Enquiries and project records are accessible to authorised personnel. Client workspace access is limited by project membership. We keep information only as long as needed for the enquiry, the contractual relationship and applicable legal obligations. You can ask us about the retention period relevant to your records.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, or object to its use. Requests are normally free of charge and we normally respond within one month. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
