One platform.More possibilities.
A scalable control platform for a family of gas and electric micronizer machines. Consistent operation, modular architecture, built to grow.

The challenge
How do you give a pilot machine and a full production line the same dependable operator experience? For Process-IR, the challenge was to support different machine sizes and both gas-fired and electric heating without fragmenting the control platform.
A common foundation
CDDC developed a Siemens-based control architecture using the S7-1500F and S7-1200F families, ET200SP and ET200AL I/O, and WinCC Unified interfaces. Shared software libraries bring a consistent approach to sequences, recipes, alarms and diagnostics.
Modular where it matters
External local panels organise the process into manageable segments. Clear interfaces, interlocks and isolation points support maintenance and allow the platform to expand as a machine or production line grows.
From information to insight
Recipe-driven operation, trends and batch reporting give operators a clearer view of the process. Remote diagnostics support investigation and ongoing improvement, with access arrangements defined for the installation.
The result
A shared engineering foundation across machine variants. Operators get a familiar interface; engineering teams get reusable building blocks; future changes start from a consistent platform.
