Supporting automation in the port
CDDC’s main contract at BPT in Liverpool is ongoing support for automation in the port. The relationship covers the existing site controls alongside additional engineering projects.
Site software and hardware upgrades
Alongside ongoing support, CDDC carries out software and hardware upgrades on site. These projects build on the existing automation and control infrastructure.
Additional project: soda-silo bag filling
One of the additional projects involved a soda silo used for bag filling. A small outdoor panel was integrated with the main Siemens PLC/MCC controlling the whole site, connecting the local equipment to the wider control system.
